Tecninox
Adaptive planning at Tecninox allows a synergistically integrated production serving all companies of Raccortubi.
Since 1988, Tecninox has specialised in the cold production of ½” to 16″ butt weld fittings, guaranteeing an internal, flexible and reliable production source for the constant replenishment of Raccortubi’s stocks, leaving room for the insertion of special orders determined by the specific needs of customers, drawing the raw material from the Raccortubi stock according to the already planned deliveries or orders for special set-up.
Quality
Quality controls are the basis of all phases of the production process performed at Tecninox.
From the careful selection of the raw material to the substantial investments in technology with the creation of a robotic island for dimensional controls, PMI, marking and packaging, they guarantee the supply of finished products of a high-quality level.
LABORATORY TESTS
PMI, Hardness and Liquid Penetrant Testing, feritscope are carried out in-house, while other destructive or not destructive tests are performed by external laboratories, conveniently certified by international bodies and liaising with Raccortubi for a long time.
Chemical compositions, mechanical values and additional tests on duplex, superduplex and 6mo are subject to constant checks to ensure production meets the highest quality standards.
Raccortubi customers can thus benefit from the ready-made availability of fully tested and certified materials without the constraint of additional time and costs for laboratory tests, already included in the Group his standard.
Using only cold forming, Tecninox produces ½” to 16” butt weld fittings in austenitic stainless steel, duplex, superduplex, 6mo, nickel and titanium alloys.

The variability of customer requests, from the single piece to the supply of a complete project, is satisfied by planning that is able to adapt to last-minute urgencies.
Using pipes of the same diameter and thickness of the product to be made as raw material, Tecninox can draw from the Raccortubi warehouse depending on the requests, to then be introduced directly into production.
In addition, it is able to plan in advance and accurately the expected quantities for Raccortubi warehouse stocks, for customer orders or in the event of unforeseen urgencies, based on sophisticated forecasting and finite-capacity programming algorithms.
Thanks to this planning, a continuous flow is therefore created that allows the optimum use of resources and greater control of all production phases, in addition to the undoubted advantage of being able to place new orders without influencing the respecting of already planned deliveries.
Approvals and qualifications
Tecninox was the first manufacturer of seamless fittings to receive the NORSOK M-650 Ed certification. 4.
In addition to the PED and ISO 45001:2018 certifications demonstrating the attention dedicated to the safety of the workplace and its workers, as well as the commitment to the environment, Tecninox is ISO 9001:2015– and ISO 14001:2015-certified.
