Based in Scotland (Aberdeen), Raccortubi UK specializes in stockholding and distributing piping material for critical applications. It has a particular focus on the Oil & Gas industry, water treatment plants, nuclear plants and carbon capture projects.
Characteristics
Raccortubi UK supplies pipes, fittings and flanges in stainless steel and special alloys mainly intended for offshore platforms and Oil & Gas applications, but also for water treatment, nuclear and carbon capture.
Starting from requests for individual pieces, it supports customers at every stage of the supply process, including the preparation of complete packages for specific projects, offering tested and certified material for all requirements. This also includes the configuration of specific stocks for framework agreements, guaranteeing same-day deliveries if necessary.
Raccortubi’s structure, which synergistically combines production and distribution, allows Raccortubi UK maximum efficiency in preparing deliveries for all orders, both on the domestic market and internationally. The constant replenishment of stock guaranteed by the internal production in the plants in Italy minimises the shortages of stock availability.
Raccortubi UK also has an internal mechanical workshop to provide assistance and fast delivery times, according to customer requests.
Valves of all types, sizes, pressure classes and material grades are also available on request.

Quality and services
Raccortubi UK boasts an excellent internal infrastructure for the implementation of non-destructive testing (NDT) – ferrite measurement, hardness tests, PPE, MPI, PMI – in addition to all the technological tests performed by qualified external laboratories.
In addition, Raccortubi UK offers various possibilities for customising of the customer order such as special mechanical processing according to customer specifications, colour codes, particular markings and special packaging.
Raccortubi UK is registered as one of the Achilles FPAL and SEQual approved companies, key requirements for suppliers in the UK, and has numerous end customer approvals.
Piping solutions
The local stock of Raccortubi UK consists of over 3000 tons of material for the ready-made supply of austenitic stainless steel pipes, fittings and flanges, duplex, superduplex, 6Mo, nickel and titanium alloys, intended for critical applications, in particular for the Oil & Gas sector and offshore platforms. In addition, Raccortubi UK can supply valves of all types, sizes, pressure classes and material quality, to complete the offer.
