A complete range of materials is the basis of the wide range of Raccortubi
to ensure maximum availability and flexibility in both production and distribution
Raccortubi can supply pipes, fittings and flanges in a wide range of diameters and thicknesses, in austenitic stainless steel, duplex, superduplex, 6mo, nickel alloys, titanium and alloy steel. Included are urea pipes and fittings, heat exchanger tubes (cut to size), instrumentation pipes and materials for high temperatures.
The wide availability of raw material in duplex, superduplex and 6Mo available at the Company’s production plants allows the production of butt weld fittings quickly and at reduced costs.
These production items integrate the substantial stocks of all Raccortubi’s companies, guaranteeing a high availability of material, suitable for all types of needs not only for applications in the Oil & Gas sector, but also for chemical and petrochemical plants (including “green” chemicals), fertilisers, water treatment and for the nuclear industry.
The materials

As part of our supplies, we are also able to complete our piping packages with other types of materials and products, thanks to our experience and a consolidated network of qualified suppliers.
Austenitic stainless steel
Standard austenitic stainless steel (304/304L, 316/316L) pipes, tubes, fittings and flanges are the core of Raccortubi Group offer, from both manufacturing and stock at all its premises worldwide. Pipes, tubes, and fittings in 321/321H, 347/347H are also available for relatively high temperature applications.
Duplex / Superduplex
Duplex (UNS s31803) and superduplex (UNS 32750 and UNS 32760) fittings, pipes and flanges constitute a considerable part of Raccortubi’s stocks, both in Italy and in international warehouses. Ideal for the Oil & Gas industry in all its applications, the materials available from the ready are already tested according to the technical specifications of the major operators worldwide. The certification provided allows full traceability of the product at all phases, including casting, the manufacturer of the raw material used and all the details of the heat treatment.
6Mo
Pipes, fittings and flanges in 6MO super austenitic stainless steel (UNS S31254) are available at all Raccortubi stocks to meet the greatest critical application needs, where greater corrosion resistance is required compared to standard stainless steel grades. Typical applications of this grade are offshore platforms, the transportation of liquefied petroleum gases (LNG) and desalination plants.
Nickel alloys
We produce and supply piping material in nickel alloys 625 (UNS N06625) and 825 (UNS N08825), ideal for the most critical applications. If alloy 625, by virtue of its mechanical and corrosion resistance characteristics, is mainly applied in marine environments and chemical processes with a strong presence of acids, alloy 825 is preferred in offshore plants, in particularly aggressive gas production, in conveying systems and for the production of phosphoric acid.

Urea
Raccortubi has ready-made pipes that are also used as raw material for the production of fittings at its production plants.
Raccortubi provides piping material in grades 316L UG (UNS31603) and 310 mod. (UNS31050) with nominal diameter from ½” to 14″, specific for applications in the production of urea and fertilisers, in accordance with the most important EPC technical specifications internationally .

Titanium
If the production of titanium fittings (ASTM B363) has always been part of the Group’s plant activities (Tecninox), today the Raccortubi stocks can rely on a wide range of welded tubes (ASTM B862) and seamless tubes (ASTM B861), also providing on request flanges (ASTM B381) and bars (ASTM B348).
